St. Mary-of-the-Woods totaled 11 first-team all-conference selections and four second-team selections, the most of the six schools. Calumet and Bellarmine each had 5 selections on the first-team list, CCSJ with eight and the Knights with six on the second-team all-conference list. Quincy University totaled 10 all-conference honorees, Fontbonne University had seven honorees and Midway University with four honorees across the two all-conference teams.

The inaugural MSFL season comes to a close and the final MSFL Player of the Week recipients belong to the championship teams. St. Mary-of-the-Woods walked away winning the inaugural MSFL Championship game, defeating Calumet College, the Regular Season Champions. Calumet?s Busse and St. Mary-of-the-Woods? Perea and Varns are the final 2022 MSFL Player of the Week recipients for their Championship game performance.

WHITING, IND. ? Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College President Dottie King may have summed it up best with her words of congratulations to the sprint football team after Saturday night's 23-7 victory over Calumet College of St. Joseph to claim the inaugural Midwest Sprint Football League title.
