St. Mary-of-the-Woods Clinches MSFL Regular Season Title with 35–7 Win; Playoff Bracket Set

Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College completed a perfect regular season and captured the 2025 Midwest Sprint Football League (MSFL) Regular Season Championship on Saturday with a 35–7 victory over Bellarmine University at Jay Barrett Field.

The win lifted the Pomeroys to 5–0 overall, securing the No. 1 seed for the upcoming MSFL Playoffs. The championship was confirmed following Calumet College of St. Joseph’s 22–19 road loss at Midway University, finalizing the league standings and postseason matchups.

Saint Mary-of-the-Woods will now host a semifinal game next weekend, while Midway, Calumet, and Bellarmine round out the four-team playoff field.
