Calumet and Saint Mary-of-the-Woods Set to Meet in MSFL Championship

The stage is set for the 2025 Midwest Sprint Football League Championship as Calumet College of St. Joseph visits Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College on Saturday, November 15 at 3 p.m. (ET) at Jay Barrett Field in West Terre Haute, Indiana.

Saint Mary-of-the-Woods enters the title game as the MSFL Regular Season Champion, completing a perfect 7-0 record. The Pomeroys advanced to the championship with a 41-14 victory over Bellarmine in Saturday’s semifinal opener.

Calumet (6-1) secured its championship berth later that evening, defeating Midway University by the score of 19-7 in the second semifinal.

The matchup marks a long-awaited meeting between the two league powerhouses after their October 18 contest was declared a no contest when storms in the area halted play just five minutes into the first quarter.

Saturday’s championship will feature two of the league’s most balanced teams, both showcasing high-powered offenses and disciplined defenses throughout the 2025 campaign.
